All of these destinations are quite interesting. Find out for yourself!
Get the prices of each one of these guided tours, which are always done in comfortable buses for short journeys on the road. We will clearly show you the schedule of each of our itineraries and of the places to which we’ll have to take the bus. From there, we will enjoy a day discovering the charms of Madrid’s suburbs, thanks to the presence of our guide, who will accompany you both at the destination of each trip and on the journey there.
Why should you embark on any of our trips to the outskirts of Madrid? It’s very simple: there’s much to see and our tours will definitely surprise you.
All of our trips from Madrid take place during one day. Throughout the day, sufficient time is available to tour places quite different from the capital, like Avila or Segovia. The first is famous for its long medieval walls and the Santa Teresa de Jesus. And the second is world-famous for its Roman aqueduct and the spectacular Alcazar.
Another interesting destination for a trip from Madrid is the city of Toledo. This city is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and it’s worth going on the peaceful guided tour that we offer you through its streets and to its monuments. It’s the best way to discover the City of Three Cultures.
The attractive places to see on a day trip from Madrid don’t stop there. It’s also possible to go to two quite distinct places that embody the far-off and more recent histories of Spain. Trips and guided tours to Monastery of San Lorenzo del Escorial and to the Valley of the Fallen are also available.
And equally interesting is to go on a trip to Aranjuez in order to see the palaces, museum and gardens in the beautiful Comunidad de Madrid, located very close to the capital and thus easy to go to on a day trip from Madrid.
That’s to say, we offer various destinations for these trips, which always include a guided tour to the most attractive and unforgettable places to see during your holiday in Madrid.
Tour Reviews
Quite comfortable bus, brilliant restaurant in Segovia and very beautiful places. The downside is that there’s very little time to stop and appreciate everything in detail, especially the aqueduct and the unvisited cathedral.
Avila and Segovia are to be visited time and time again. I will never tire of walking through their streets and I have already thought about returning with my parents through this company.
History and art. Between both cities, there are at least 4 essential monuments to see in Spain, as well as many other interesting but not so famous ones.
Spectacular places. The Alcázar, the Cathedral and the aqueduct of Segovia along with the walls of Avila are impressive, worth seeing if you’re in Madrid
I loved the tour with this agency. The guide was very well prepared but sometimes gave the same explanations in English and Spanish, which took some time.
I highly recommend it. The guides information was amazing, and the tour around Avila and Segovia was gorgeous. We mostly visited the Avila walls and the Segovia aqueduct, but we also loved the cathedral and the Alcazar…
I went by myself, and it wouldnt have been the same if I hadnt gone on a tour. The guide gave us tons of information on the history of Avila and Segovia, the latter was my favorite.
A must. If youre in Madrid, visiting Segovia and Ávila is definitely worth it. They are a World Heritage Site after all. Highly recommended.
Worth it. Both cities architecture and history is amazing. The best thing was that we got to visit both in a single day.
Great visit. We had enough time to see the most emblematic monuments of both cities as well as many other places, like palaces, which arent as popular.
A charming city. Thanks to the guide we were able to discover Toledo as it was when it was the capital of the kingdom in the 16th century. Fantastic.
Art and history. I think that if you go to Madrid you have to visit Toledo, as it was the old Spanish capital and has a lot of very impressive places such as the cathedral, the alcazar and the Jewish quarter.
A great way to see Toledo. The bus is comfortable, the tour around the city is very complete and the guide’s information was very interesting.
Worth it. This city is pure history. The most interesting sites were the cathedral and the synagogue.
Perfect to get to see Toledo. The street tour and visiting the city highlights was very interesting and broad enough to get an idea of the city and how it was during the time of its maximum splendor in the sixteenth century.
Good visit. The tour was very good but I think we could’ve used the time we spent in the damascening workshop to go into the cathedral.
A guided tour from Toledo to Madrid at a good price. The visit to the city is very complete and the service offered is good, I think it’s the best option to visit the city.
We got to know some lovely places in a short amount of time. It was as if you were in the medieval era at all times
Perfect organization. The trip to Toledo from Madrid was worth the it, due to the visits to the temples and the guide’s information
Great. We visited very interesting sites throughout the tour, and they told us a lot of trivia about them, which we wouldn’t have known if we’d gone on our own.
Awesome. Visiting both cities in a single day was wonderful and the guide was great.
100% recommended. The history, the monuments, the tour, the guide, everything was awesome.
Fantastic monuments. The Alcazar, the cathedrals, the aqueduct, the palaces, everything was spectacular.
Highly recommend. It gave us enough time to visit Toledo and Segovia’s main attractions. Good guide.
Great tour. Definitely worth visiting both cities, it’s a shame that we couldn’t go into the cathedrals.
Pure history. We saw vestiges of Roman times in both cities, but what I liked the most was Avila’s wall and the entire old town of Salamanca.
It was worth it. Instead of seeing both cities on our own, which was the initial plan my wife and I had, we opted for this day trip. We got to see more places and better than if we’d done it on our own and the price was very reasonable.
Spectacular. The tour has lots of attractions such as the walls, cathedrals or the Salamanca Main Plaza, which are all worth seeing.
Fantastic tour. It gave us enough time to see both cities which are so full of history and art.
Lovely tour. There were tons of very interesting places that were worth the visit, both in Salamanca and Avila: the walls, cathedrals, streets, nobility palaces, etc.
An essential visit. I took my family and everyone loved both places, although it was a shame that we weren’t allowed to take pictures inside.
The Escorial is a monastery that’s definitely worth visiting. The best thing is that it gives you time to do other things in the afternoon in Madrid or anywhere you want.
A must if you’re in Madrid. El Escorial is certainly spectacular, unique, and the guide offered us very food information to value those moments even more.
Everything was well-organized, without delays and highlighting the Valley of the Fallen with its beautiful scenery and snowy mountains.
Small group and everything was well organized. Both the monastery and the Valley of the Fallen were fabulous thanks to the history behind them.
The history, the architecture, and the amazing views—this tour had it all!
We learned so much about Toledo’s history. It was a great mix of guided tours and free time to wander.
The excursion was nice, but the tapas were disappointing. I expected something more authentic and tasty
From the Alcázar to the Jewish Quarter, everything was amazing! Our guide was super knowledgeable and friendly.
Toledo is an absolute gem! This tour covered all the highlights, and we even had time to relax and shop.”
